Gospel Growth–Making Disciples–Overcoming Fear

David Platt is quickly becoming one of the pastors I listen to frequently. His sermons are Gospel-centered, God-glorifying, mission focused, and wholly encouraging. Pastor Platt is a young man with a big heart, and it shows in the way he preaches to God’s people. I want to share two videos, the first being an honest look into why we often do not partake in personal, one-to-one evangelism. I think that David Platt and Francis Chan are correct in their speculations. The second video is a sermon by David Platt that, through the power of the Word, has changed my life.

The first video ends with an open-ended question: why don’t we talk to people about the Gospel?
The second video, I hope, gives us biblical reason and encouragement to abandon ourselves for the sake of God’s name and His glory for the salvation of all those who believe. I hope that Pastor Platt’s sermon reaches into your heart and changes you.
